Aloha fellow bakers! I want to go ahead and introduce ourselves and explain the purpose of this blog.
Kerry and Kelly are good friends who have a passion for baking and food! Yum! Of course, I'll let Kerry write her own introduction because I would just say something about how she likes long walks on the beach and stiff drinks. Which is true, but not entirely true! ;)
I am Kelly from the suburbs of Chicago and grew up with homemade chocolate chip cookies. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, but I'm known to enjoy my share of savory foods as well. I also have a passion for writing and need an outlet for it before I rip my hair out and drive my husband insane! I'm a newlywed (10.10.10) and I'm just starting to learn the ways of domestication. I am in NO WAY an expert on baking OR cooking, nor am I claiming to be an expert. My goal is to share recipes and my love for words with the world.
Our goal is to open 'Reverie Bakerie' in Chicago, IL so we thought it would be best to start small. After all, deliciousness is not always achieved in one swing. Kerry is the brains of the food and management, I am the writer and editor and food lover. Together we make a cute little team bringing you cupcakes and cookies galore! Cheers!
