About Us

Kelly is from the SW Chicago Suburbs where she now lives with her husband. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor's in English and currently works in higher education. Kelly enjoys spending time with her 4 younger siblings and her husband in her spare time. She is currently learning the ways of domestication in regards to cooking and cleaning but she still has not mastered the cooking portion. Baking is a totally different ball field and Kelly already has a few signature recipes and loves to explore new ones! Her worst baking experience to date is making fat free brownies. "Brownies are NOT meant to be free of fat. All baked goods NEED butter and sugar and love."

Kerry is from the south side of Chicago, but is studying restaurant management at Southern Illinois University (Go Dawgs!). It was a big challenge for this city girl, but Kerry loves it. Living in the "dirty south" inspired her to explore and learn to love southern home cooking. When Kerry is not hiding in the deep crevasses of the library pretending to do homeowrk, she can be found partaking in random adventures usually involving cake. Still working a few kinks out of her cooking abilities, Kerry is a natural baker. That, however, only happened after she studied baking and pastry at Moraine Valley Community College. Not having to worry about matrimonial duties, Kerry can focus on ways to make people fatter by eating her delicious food stuffs.
